Flight of an Angel (feat. Lizz Duenas)
Created in collaboration with Lizz Duenas, this song is a tribute to our mothers — their strength, support, and unwavering belief in us as artists.
Written on a 12-string acoustic, the track carries a heartfelt, organic tone inspired in part by the songwriting style of George Michael. It also marks one of the first times I composed a full acoustic guitar solo in this style — a direction that later continued in Best Part Of Me with IronWrath.
This is one of the most personal pieces on the album.
Inspiration of Santana (feat. Susan Doelle)
Featuring narration by Susan Doelle, this piece was born from long conversations about music, life, and resilience. A cancer survivor with a deep love for nature, Susan’s spirit helped shape the emotional core of this track.
Inspired by the timeless style of Carlos Santana, this song captures the feeling of long road trips and open landscapes — where dual guitars sing with warmth and soul. You can feel that smooth, flowing energy that influenced its creation, blending heart, journey, and melody into one experience.
VAPOR (feat. Jay Smith)
This track was written alongside powerhouse drummer Jay Smith — a longtime friend and collaborator dating back to our days in Hour Eleven, where we created two records together.
From the roots of the 80’s metal era to the evolution of modern heavy sound, our musical journey comes full circle in VAPOR. This instrumental piece blends that history into something new — raw, cinematic, and driven by years of shared experience.
What’s Next
Closing the album, What’s Next draws from the industrial and electronic metal movement that shaped me in the mid-to-late 90s.
Blending heavy guitar with synth-driven textures and a club-inspired pulse, this track reflects both where I’ve been and where I’m headed. It carries a cinematic energy — pushing forward, evolving, and asking the question that defines every artist’s journey:
